  1. All around, contemporary is my favorite genre as well. They're my "happy place" reads. One of these days I plan to read Better Off Friends as I've intended to read books by Elizabeth Eulberg for a long time now. :)

    1. 'Better off Friends' is one of the cutest books I've ever read! It's been quite some time since I picked it up last.

  2. I like fantasy best but I've been reading more contemps lately, and have been pleasantly surprised to find some really good ones. It has definitely expanded my reading choices! Damage Done looks good and I've seen that one around, and Everything Everything I've also heard good things about.

    1. My friends and I started a bookclub and that was one of the first books that we chose to read. I am so thankful that someone suggested it and introduced it to us. Many people either love it or hate it. I'm glad to hear that you love it!

    1. Anything by Nicola Yoon is fantastic, even if she had only published one novel so far.

  9. Great list! I also did my favourite contemporaries, and can't believe I forgot The Perks of Being a Wallflower as it is definitely one of my favourites. I also loved Everyday, and Everything Everything is currently on my TBR so hopefully I can get round to it soon :)

    1. I hope you find the time to read Everything, Everything. Just judging how middle grade contemporary books made it onto my list, I'm not a huge fan of contemporary. However, there are a few exceptions. Contemporary is a hard genre for me to get into, I guess because my life is so mundane, I don't want to have to sit through it again.
