  1. I keep seeing Illuminae everywhere. I'm so intrigued! :-) Great list.

  2. I got Jackaby last year. How'd you like it? I picked it up because of the cover. Here's my TTT: https://zezeewithbooks.wordpress.com/2016/03/29/top-ten-tuesday-20-great-5-star-reads/

    1. It is definitely a fun and interesting read. What sold me on it was the Doctor Who and Sherlock blurb on the back cover. I knew if it was anything like the shows, I was in for a treat!

  3. I am still on the fence about Illuminae...you would think I would have decided by now if I want to give it a try or not. Great list.

    1. It is a little intimidating because of it's size and incredible formatting. But once you adjust, you'll find yourself flying through the pages.

  4. Awesome list! I LOVED Brightly Woven--that book is so underrated! And I need to try Illuminae--it's still sitting on my shelf unread but it's starting to seem like everyone but me has read and loved it, so it's probably time to give it a shot.

  5. I really should finally get to Illuminae!
I am still hesitant with The Wrath and the Dawn since so many people rave about it but the i have bad experiences with retellings, but you are another reason making me want to pick it up :)

    Wonderful list :)

    1. The only complaint that I had with The Wrath and The Dawn was that the glossary did not include all of the characters. But I completely understand where you are coming from. For me, retellings have to retain the plot of the original story but be executed in a clever way.

    2. Exactly! And sadly not that many retellings are keeping to the plot and at the same time have a unique or clever retelling of it. Which is kind of sad. But the ones i have read up until this point had either kept too close to the original story or are so different that i really don't understand why they are marketed as retellings.
But it is good to know that you enjoyed it and that you have a very minor complain about it :)

  6. So many great books! I wish I had an endless supply of reading time because I want to read almost all of them!
